1. How much does the practice exam cost?
The exam only costs $25.00. The exam is broken down into 6 six sections with 20 questions per section. That is a total of 120 questions for $25!
2. Who created this exam?
Joe Cannon, MS, CSCS, NSCA-CPT is an exercise physiologist, author, health educator and personal trainer. He holds an MS degree in Exercise Science and a BS degree in Chemistry and Biology. He is a doubly certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, possessing both the CSCS and personal trainer certifications. He has certified thousands of fitness professionals through numerous seminars that he holds each year.
3. Does taking this practice exam guarantee that I pass my personal trainer certification exam?
The questions and topics included in this practice examination are meant to be generally representative of the areas and topics that fitness professionals might encounter when taking a nationally accredited fitness certification test. Passing this practice examination does not guarantee a passing grade on any fitness, nutrition or wellness certification.
4. How difficult is the practice exam?
Some questions you may find easy. Others you may feel are difficult. The questions selected are designed to not only test the breadth of your knowledge but also draw out critical thinking skills that fitness professionals will need when they are “in the real world”.
5. Scoring the Test
A score of 80% or better on each section is considered passing. By scoring each section separately you can immediately see which areas you may need to improve.
6. Can I get a refund?
No. Once you purchase the exam we do not offer a refund.
